P&G: Interactive Training Content for Employee Learning

Animus Agency worked with P&G on internal employee training, developing a training system and interactive videos to support the delivery of learning materials. The project focused on the employee experience: organizing training content and using interaction to encourage active participation throughout the learning process. Our scope brought together training structure, content presentation, and interactive video production within an internal learning environment.
Creating a Structured Training Experience
Internal training needs to communicate information clearly and give employees a practical way to work through it.
For P&G, our work included developing a system for training delivery alongside the materials employees would engage with. This connected the organization of the learning experience with the presentation of its content.
The objective was to make training easier to navigate and follow, with a consistent approach across the system and its supporting videos.

Turning Training Into an Experience
For P&G, learning went beyond simply delivering information. Animus Agency created a connected employee training experience where structured learning, interactive video, and digital technology work together to turn employees from passive viewers into active participants. Each interaction was designed as part of the learning journey helping make complex information clearer, participation more natural, and internal employee training more engaging from start to finish.

Interactive Video for Employee Training
Interactive videos were a central part of the project.
This format introduces opportunities for employees to participate as they move through training content. It allows the learning experience to include moments of interaction within the video flow, giving viewers an active role in the session.
Our work combined video production with the requirements of that interactive experience. Content, pacing, and interaction needed to work together so that the technology supported the training’s purpose.
The creative priority was clarity: helping employees follow the material while keeping their attention on what they were learning.
Bringing Employee Learning to Life Through Character Animation
For P&G’s interactive employee training content, Animus Agency developed a distinctive 2D character animation and motion graphics approach built around Brandi, a friendly digital character who guides employees through the learning experience.
Rather than presenting information through conventional corporate training visuals, we created a stylized workplace world using expressive character animation, illustrated environments, clear visual metaphors, and animated infographics to make complex topics easier to understand and follow.
Character expressions, gestures, scene composition, transitions, and pacing were carefully designed to keep Brandi at the center of the story while supporting the information being communicated.
By combining character design, 2D animation, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and interactive training video production, Animus Agency transformed internal learning content into a more approachable, memorable, and visually consistent employee experience.
Where Brandi Began
Every character starts with a line. Brandi was shaped through early character sketches and visual exploration, defining her personality, proportions, and simple graphic language before moving into 2D production. The result was a recognizable learning companion created for P&G’s interactive training content, connecting character design with digital employee learning.

Meet Brandi : The Character Behind the Learning Experience
At the heart of P&G’s interactive training experience is Brandi, a custom 2D animated character developed as the visual guide connecting employees with the learning journey. Her simplified geometric design, expressive green eyes, distinctive silhouette, and approachable personality were carefully shaped to feel clear and recognizable across every scene and interaction.
Animus Agency developed Brandi with animation in mind, creating a consistent character design system that supports facial expressions, gestures, movement, and interactive moments without adding unnecessary visual complexity.
More than a mascot, Brandi became a storytelling device bringing personality and continuity to the training while helping transform traditional employee learning content into an engaging experience through 2D character animation, motion design, visual storytelling, and interactive video production.

Building the Cast Around Brandi
Created as part of P&G’s interactive training video, the supporting cast was designed to build a complete animated world around Brandi. Each 2D character combines simple geometric forms, expressive features, and a consistent visual language creating relatable workplace personalities designed specifically for 2D animation, employee training, and visual storytelling.

Connecting the System and the Content
A training system and its learning materials need to function as a connected experience.
The system provides structure, while the content delivers the information. Consistency between the two helps employees understand where they are in the training and how to continue.
Our involvement across both areas allowed us to consider the experience as a whole, bringing technical development and creative production into the same project.
That combination was an important part of our contribution to P&G: building the training environment and creating interactive materials for use within it.
Creative and Technical Work for an Internal Audience
This project applied our production capabilities to internal communication and employee learning.
The audience and purpose shaped the approach. Training content needs to communicate directly, maintain a clear structure, and use visual elements in ways that support understanding.
Interactive production adds another layer of consideration. Each interaction needs to fit naturally within the material, with a clear connection to the training experience.
Our work brought these requirements together through a combination of system development, training content, and interactive video.
